The President’s Volunteer Service Award
The President’s Volunteer Service Award was established in 2003 by President George W. Bush to recognize and honor volunteers for their valuable contributions to communities across the United States. It encourages volunteerism and is administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). In alignment with National & Utah Philanthropy Day, every ticket purchased contributes directly to a volunteer's award, adorned with the signature of President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
The Presidential recognition distinguishes our Cache Valley volunteers and is a significant honor. While volunteers may not actively seek recognition, their example can inspire others to get involved and make a difference. This is not just an event; it's a testament to the spirit of philanthropy in Cache Valley.
